Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) is optimizing your online sales funnel for more conversions. Makes sense right? With 100 visitors, would you rather have 5 sales or 10 sales?

Many SMB’s focus their efforts on optimizing their pay-per-click keywords and ads, but fail to continue down the funnel making changes as they go.

According to Internet Retailer, mobile devices account for 31.3% in the fourth quarter of 2013.

Keep it short

Do you have an online sales funnel that is optimized for a mobile device? It is best to use a short form on mobile devices. Attention is short, and typing out 10 fields on a phone is near impossible. Keep it to the least amount of information that you can. Can you follow up with just a name, phone and email? What about just an email?

Your Headline needs to be simple

Why are your visitors here. If you can’t say it in 5-6 words, you need to rework it.

Strong Call To Action (CTA)

As always, tell your visitor what they should do next. Don’t use the word “submit.” The word “tap” has always performed better for me on mobile traffic, like “Tap for your Free Quote.”
